Call On Jesus

I've experienced this many times in my life. Unable to move, hearing an evil laugh or being touched. At first I'm unable to speak, but I keep calling out Jesus and eventually I get it out and I wake up.


I had it happened two nights ago. This time I saw a black spirit come into the room and go on my wife's side of the bed. I called on Jesus, it left.

My son told me about his sp for the first time although he has had it since he was young. He would wake up and could look to the right and left but could not move or call out to us when he could hear us in the next room. He would sometimes awake to a dark figure on his chest sometimes he felt choked. His latest was describe as a dream where a dark clocked figure was staring at him. My son attempted to cry out to my husband and I , "Hold me,Hold me". The dark entity was running towards him and my son said it was as if the life was being drained from him. Only the name of Jesus was able to free my son. I am in shock to read so many others having the simular experiences. My son was raised in our Christian home. I feel there is a battle for his soul. It is reassuring to know that nothing can separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus. My son has been growing in his faith and more and more submitting his life to Christ.

This just happened to me and has been noticeably occurring for at least 15 years, usually when I am trying to seek / surrender to my understanding of the call of Christ. I am in that place again today and while watching a spiritually based movie I dozed off and it happens. I was laying on my side and all of a sudden I felt as if I was being pulled to the other side of the bed behind me. Since this isn't my first one the one thing that has freed me before was to call on JESUS. All the while tryin to free myself. I felt my grip of my left hand on the side of the mattress resisting the pulling force and with my right hand being close to my face I tried to open my right eye with my index and thumb. While still frozen and fighting I saw that my bedroom door was closed but when released the movie still playing and the door was open. * In earlier episodes I have had something on my chest that seemed to be holding me down; and I've seen what I call shadow people. The shadow people never touched me but there were 3 that appeared to be a man a woman and a child. The shadows came into my bedroom single file and the man shadow went ing my closet where the gun case was, took the case from the closet and they all went out of the bedroom and I was able to move again. *

Enigmatic: It is as if you did not finish your story - when you woke up, was your gun case still there? And, YES - the calling on Jesus works - because I have experienced two types of the ASP - one in which is at the end of sleep - in which I think I am awake, but can't move. There is a stranger wandering about the room, touching things, touching me - and then I wake up. I have experienced something else in which I have felt myself being pulled to the bottom of the bed, floating above the bed, and once even swept out into space. These experiences are different from dreaming and nightmares. They feel as if they are actually happening - when I call out "Jesus, help me", I return and feel my bed & body vibrate. I believe the demons attack us when our defenses are at the lowest, i.e, in sleep. But, they must obey Jesus & will not stay in the same room as Him.

I've had a few episodes recently and I'm praying every day not to encounter it again. The battle for the soul thing described above made me feel better, because it's good to know Jesus Christ will always win.

However, do you also find that it is near impossible to say it? One time especially, I was in my dining room (in the dream, not actually, i don't think I was crashing in the living room that night, which is connected to the dining room) and there was a definite spiritual struggle, it seemed like for not just my own soul but for everyone else I knew. The worst thing was that I tried saying Jesus Christ, but it felt as though all these dry crackers were stuffed down my throat. It took 3 attempts to be able to pronounce the name, my tongue was dry and I saw myself hacking up these chewed cracker pieces.

That was the most extreme one, but I seem to never be able to pronounce it clearly, I don't have any speech problems in real life but it seems that my s's get slurred, it sounds more like "Jehzusss" or "Jassus" and near impossible to say. Not to mention then attempting to put it with Christ, which comes out as "Kreisth" .......but the verse "Anyone who calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved" comes to mind so I can't see an alternative way to do it. Maybe that's the challenge?

Anyone else have any problems like this?

I have this reoccuring dream where I come upon a big, old house. It's the same house in every dream - two story, wrap around porch and reddish brown in color. Nobody lives there but it's filled with furniture and all sorts of nick-nacks. In reality, I LOVE those kind of homes so needless to say, I'm drawn to this house. I enter the house and begin to look around. After a few minutes I start to feel a presence, something evil, but I never see anything. There is always this room that I want to explore but I'm afraid of it. I start to get more fearful so I call out to Jesus. However, when I try, my speech becomes slurred and it's as if my tongue weighs 50lbs. I'm never able to say it and I end up running out and waking myself up.

 Can't say "The Blood of Jesus" in dream NEW

When I was a kid, i used to always be afraid of the dark or even being alone in a room at night(especially the bathroom). And when i sleep with my brother i would always ask him to face his side of the bed and fall sleep and i would face my side of the bed and fall asleep, if i didn't do so i would be awake for 2-3 hours just laying in bed forcing myself to stay awake every-time i dose off, until i actually fall asleep.

Well the dreams i used to get was "me sleeping on the bed and waking up to a frightening feeling and as i open my eyes i see a dark shadow in the distance by the bedroom door watching me, usually as soon as i see it i hide under the blanket and say "Blood of Jesus" (i say this because my aunt once told me in an intervention related to me being too afraid of the dark, to say "Blood of Jesus" and that if i say this i won't be afraid of anything even the dark.) This is the most horrifying part of the dream because as soon as i hide under the blanket,i am unable to say "Jesus" for the 1st 2 time, all i can say is "Blood of" my mouth wont open to say "Jesus" and on the 3rd time i say the whole thing "Blood of Jesus" and i wake up to reality.

This has happened to me several times and i have noticed that i usually get these dreams when im loyal to Christ, meaning i pray every day before bed. But when i don't pray i don't get these dreams.

I had a similar experience. I'm a Lcpl in the Marines, and I'm the type of guy who fears nothing. What happened to me shook me up. I was paralyzed face down in my pillow, and I could feel a malevolent presence near me. It was bad enough I was paralyzed face down in my pillow, but that pure evil presence made everything even worse. At first, I tried to call out to my roommate's, but everything I tried to say and shout wouldn't come out of my mouth. I couldn't move a muscle, or utter a single word. Everything was hopeless for me until I called out to Saint Michael the Archangel through Jesus Christ's name. It was the only thing I could say. I used to go to church as a child, and recently I've been getting closer to God through prayer. As soon as I called out to him through Jesus Christ's name the whole experience ended abruptly. I was in shock, it was a very moving and powerful moment for me. In my case, I think praying to God is what brought upon the attack. I read the scientific theory for sleep paralysis. Today we put a label on things, suggesting that its origin is not demonic, but may be hereditary, or psychological to which medication is given, which in my opinion, numbs the patient while the problem still persists. By doing so we deny the existence of evil, and sadly to say with the intercession of modern medicine we continue to attribute diabolical actions with an explanation. That satisfies most people's interest. I respect the science community. I in no way am condescending medicine, it has its uses, it does save lives, and stop diseases, but if the scientific theory was correct, if our bodies become paralyzed to protect us from acting out our dreams, no one would be sleepwalking. I suggest reading Psalms: 91 before you go to sleep.

I can remember when I first gave my life to Christ this particular morning my husband leaves for work around 5:30 he kisses me good by so I turned over to my left side I felt something nudging me I thought he had returned but when I turned look over my shoulder I saw the black image standing over me at first I panic and thought about my daughter in the other room so I started rebuking the demon as I was getting up going to her room I ask her if she was ok , I understand it was after me when you have that kind of experience you never forget

I have bipolar disorder which doesn't help. And I used to be the salvation army as a child but stopped going. I still pray to god from time to time. I started to watch the exorcist and ghost films. Like paranormal activity. I wished I never. Cause I started to get real paranoid about the thought of being possessed. Anyway now I hear things bingeing at night time. Even when I'm dosing off I hear loud bang with a white flash. I wake up. Eventually after being spooked I finally drift off then my body feels a weird tingly sensation and something is grapping my soul or me out off bed. One time I saw a cupboard
With flames on another occasion I was being thrown about. I can not wake up the only thought of me waking up is god. And it worked. Had a bruise the next day on my arm. Now these nightmares are happening quite often. The most recent one was the tingly sensation of my body or soul ready to be dragged (get quite a few of these short ones). I try a open one eye and I see a dark shadow person or creature right in front on my chest. I say my other word which f you and wake up. What the is going on! Please help.

Just this afternoon and for the second time, i dream about group of demons laughing at me, bcos i couldnt rebuke or cast them away. I tried to say the Name of Jesus Christ, but I couldnt. So one voice laugh at me, it's an insulting way of the latter. It's like they're controlling my tongue. I'm afraid at first, bcos it's the same dream that frightened me. But i tried to look for a reason about why i dream that thing. and i realized that as a Christian, I should surrender everything to God. So i can have all the authority, that our Lord Jesus has given us. Demons are not afraid of fake Christians. But for sure, they are afraid of Jesus, but ofcourse in able to cast them away, one must have/receive Jesus Christ truly in his/her heart. and i know this reminds me that i should surrender everything to God, my life, and all.

I am a teenager I have been experiencing SP for a while now. When I was younger I used to be a christian as I was raised by my family and this dark invisible creature would attack me during my SP I would pray and it would go away. However as I grew I stopped believing since I thought the bible was mostly BS and out of reason. so with no more god to pray to during SP I started to confront the dark figure and this helped me. I came out of the SP faster than when I prayed and it happened less frequently. As someone that has seen this work I recommend that you guys confront your fears rather than hide behind your faith. Also if did you guys not read the scientific explanation why do is there some comment that say its an attack by demons?

someathiest: No one here is hiding behind their faith. I don't fear death. It's true, I'm just not scared. What happened to me was like nothing I've ever experienced. Terror I never felt before. It felt as if whatever was holding me down had a deep-seated hatred towards me. I occasionally have bouts of sleep paralysis, and every time I rebuke whatever is there in Christ's name the experience abruptly stops. Perhaps what happened to you was just a dream, I don't know. I wish there was a logical explanation for this, but this is most definitely beyond the scientific materialistic paradigm.

I used to ask him what he was doing on his side of the bed, he used to think it was me.... After moving never had the experience again until three days ago, I work night shift, this is 7:30 am, laying down... The bed does that same vibration, I'm alone in the room, and when I asked Jesus this question" Are you going to protect me ?" It immediately stopped... I believe the saying for every new level there's a new devil. The more our faith, hope and trust grows in CHRIST, the more attacks, relationships, financial, on the job, and definitely, spiritual warfare just waits it's opportunity to have it's way to cause fear.... Satan hates us, we are inheriting everything he was banded from, nothing more would he love than to have permission to treat us as Job, and ultimately to kill us , if calling on my protection is hiding behind faith so be it.... I'm His little child.

I have experience this since a child, and the awful presence, I can attest too along with not being able to speak...Even if one cannot speak, Christ his your thoughts and has the power, that even they must obey.
I believe Christ is there with us even at those time and HE is just waiting us to call on his name, to release from a spiritual yoke of bondage, that resides from another demension...

I usually wake up at 11:00 am or later,but several days ago my eyes suddenly opened and there was absolutely no reason for it,i felt a strange feeling inside of me and when i took a look at the clock it was 07:00 am. Today it happend again but this was time much more interesting,ive read stories about that Jesus saves when you call for him in situasions like this. I think i had a bad dream i cant really remember,but my eyes were open,i couldnt move or say anything,i tried to scream but nothing happend,i was so scared and SO COLD,it was really freezing.It was then i called out for Jesus,and after some seconds it was gone and i could move,i looked at the clock and it was 07:00 am. im sorry for my bad english but this is the best i could do. Anyways Jesus saved me but still,why 07:00??

When I woke it felt like my body became lighter and I said aloud JESUS!

My lady friend was still on the phone and I asked her did she hear what I just said. She replied, "Yeah, it sounded like you said evil(slurred) but now you just said JESUS."

I am, have been, and will ALWAYS be a God fearing man. This is the 1st time this has ever happened to me which is why I decided to google it. We are in a war w/ evil spirits daily, but as long as we stay faithful to God we will constantly whoop the devils ass!

I saw the heaven in my dream some months ago.It was all buildings with pointed top. And I was very happy to see that beautiful scene amidst the cloud. I looked carefully and later saw Jesus laughing at me and he said" This is the Heaven". I woke up that moment.

Then today in my dream, this very early morning I slept on Jesus palm; rest my face on his palm as if He came to say He is there always with me. He patted me lovingly. I was very happily sleeping on His Palm. Thank You Jesus.

Sleep paralysis as they call it. I just wokeup from S.P and I've always had to call out the name of Jesus Christ. Saying the name Jesus who is my saviour is the only thing that will wake me up. Try it your way 1st sure go ahead but this is demonic evil wicked beings attacking us in our dreams while we try to rest. Ephesians 6:11-6:17 Matthew 18:18 Isaiah 54:17. Why do i tell you this about scripture? Mark 16:15. Feel free to study the bible and learn about the 1 and only true Saviour before its too late in the after life. John 14:6 is the only way. We can't save ourselves but can be saved. Romans 3:23. Romans 10:13 and read further in that chapter. Choose Jesus Christ as your saviour before its too late. Evil might attack but God Jesus Christ has our back and will defend us. Glory to God

Well I used to have sleep paralysis a lot , but once it was so terrible that I couldn't sleep the whole night. I had it 3 times in a row and i was sick of it , I was tired I wanted my sleep. Then after the 3rd dream I woke up I was mad and annoyed , i said I was going to go off and rebuke it in the name of Christ and it never showed up after that . Another time I started rebuking it in the name of Jesus Christ telling it to leave and Jesus is powerful than it and it shook me so hard, and then I saw a light and I woke up.

I've had sp numerous times before, thankfully not in a long while now. The most terrifying episode I had was extremely vivid of a blind man tied to a wooden chair in the middle of my room, he was harmless and being victimized by 2 demonic entities, one on either side of him, I often wondered if it was a metaphorical message about my own spiritual blindness. I was completely paralyzed as always but was being taunted by the presence just as the man was. The strange thing was that I had this absolute desire to say Jesus, even though I couldn't claim to know Jesus at the time, I just simply knew above any word that Jesus was the word to say. He has our back. Actually I see truth to scientific explanations of So But some dreams are just simply way too vivid and real and such ones are always immediately gone the split second you manage to whisper Jesus, so yes, the I do believe at times these are spiritual. I'm so glad I found this page! This happened to me just this morning at 4:00 am and has happened numerous times throughout my life. Last night my baby woke up at one to be fed like usual and I noticed a strong evil presence in my house, particularly in the hallway. After being fed and put back to sleep, she wouldn't stay in her crib for even a minute, which is unlike her. Finally, I brought her in to sleep with me. I normally never sleep with my back towards the edge of my bed, because I can usually feel a presence behind me. I finally fell asleep and woke to a hand on my left shoulder blade and specifically a male presence. I thought someone had broken into our house and was in our room. I started trying to call my husband's name and trying to kick him awake, but couldn't move and could only get out an "S' sound. My eyes were wide open, I could see my husband snoring next to me and my baby flailing her arms around and crying but all I could do was shake. I started trying to say "Jesus" but as usual when this happens, it's like my mouth is frozen. I finally said it and the episode immediately ended. I've been a christian most of my life. My mother is the one who taught me to say the name of Jesus to wake me from a nightmare or to banish an evil presence from my room. It's the only thing that works.

After being fed and put back to sleep, she wouldn't stay in her crib for even a minute, which is unlike her. Finally, I brought her in to sleep with me. I normally never sleep with my back towards the edge of my bed, because I can usually feel a presence behind me. I finally fell asleep and woke to a hand on my left shoulder blade and specifically a male presence. I thought someone had broken into our house and was in our room. I started trying to call my husband's name and trying to kick him awake, but couldn't move and could only get out an "S' sound. My eyes were wide open, I could see my husband snoring next to me and my baby flailing her arms around and crying but all I could do was shake. I started trying to say "Jesus" but as usual when this happens, it's like my mouth is frozen. I finally said it and the episode immediately ended. I've been a christian most of my life. My mother is the one who taught me to say the name of Jesus to wake me from a nightmare or to banish an evil presence from my room. It's the only thing that works.

This has happened twice to me. The first dream where i felt evil and darkness in my presence during a dream was when I was about 17. I remember it as if it just happened. I laid in bed and soon enough i fell asleep. In my dream, I was laying in bed looking at the ceiling. i started to feel hands on my chest and ribs. I was slowly being pulled down inside my bed. I was still looking up at the ceiling and I started to see darkness. The ceiling got smaller as walls of darkness began to appear on my peripherals. I couldn't say or move anything. I was frozen. I was scared. I didn't know what to do . Then I thought of Jesus in my dream. I said Lord Savior Jesus.. Whoosh... I was instantly back in my regular bed. Everything was normal. Then I woke up. I just had this dream.
It begins when my mom comes into the parlour and says "who wants to go to H-Medix?", the new shopping that opened opposite our neighborhood.
It was kinda late at night, in the dream off course, so my little bro got excited. So the three of us left.
We had just crossed a 2-laned 2-way undivided road to pedestrian walkway to said shopping mall when the street lights suddenly got dark. I could feel people walk by us, but I could not see them. They looked like dark figures actually. I reached for my phone/assitive light in my right pocket when suddenly one of the dark figures engulfed me. Next thing, I was back in my room with the dark figure trying to restrain me. I struggled, I rolled off the bed onto the floor and struggled to say "Jesus! ". The first few tries were silent whimperings until I finally let out a roar.
I woke up facing the ceiling, got on my knees and prayed. The battle was won. Glory to Jesus.

I found these comments to be so similar to the dreams/nightmares I've been having. I've been in dreams where the room is extremely dark, and something in my dream has tried to take advantage of me sexually (like a succubus) and I have called out to Christ multiple times and it seems as if that's the only escape. Sometimes calling out "Jesus", "Yeshua" or "Immanuel" has literally changed the structure/architecture of my dream meaning that Christ took me from one place in my dream, to a totally different place in my dream that was not dark, and full of light.

But I've had the same dreams people have had when I've tried to call on Jesus' name and I felt like someone was keeping me from saying his name. It was as if something was slurring my speech, holding me back. I was convinced after also seeing spirits in my dreams (dark shadows) that I was under spiritual attack.

I know for a fact that Christ has been present in my dreams because I once awoke after saying his name and I remember seeing the outline of him with my eyes closed and all of this light was emitting from him.

I have had two such attacks.Jesus has always had my back.First attack happened when I was about 19yrs old.I'm not a very good christian but I hope to grow closer to the Lord.One constant thing about me is that I have total and absolute love and faith in God. I woke up at 3am and realised I couldn't move,was completely paralysed.the moment. Called Jesus name I was freed and was able to move. 2nd attack happened this year, I was drunk and completely vunerable. It was in the wee hours of the night, I was completely paralysed and couldn't move.Around me there were dark shadows.I tried to mention the name Jesus but couldn't. After that horrble experience and having my house blessed n not showing fear because I would read Psalms 91 it stopped. Until last night it happened again. We are taking about maybe a year ago since the last episode, but what ever was trying to scare me wasn't leaving n wasn't scared when I rebuked it. I tried calling out to Jesus but it had me terrified n scared n i literally could not move. I tried to touch my husband n the worst part of all, I could hear my baby girl awake because I had just finish telling her, "go to sleep mama, go to sleep!" What ever this was made its entrance scary I could feel it next to me beside my bed n when finally I got to speak, I said,"Fine if ur not scare, you will be when God grabs a hold of u beacuse I am his servant!" And it stopped. When I say this was different, I mean more scarier, and did not let me go when I rebuked it. This felt more different than the first time it happened, but my first one kept coming to many nights n my husband got to witness me trying scream n move n when i saw him even with my eyes close about to grab me to wake me up, i screamed so loud n was crying. We are having a really cool thunder/lightening storm...I fell asleep to this and naturally my dream was actually me laying in bed dreaming of the storm. Everytime the lightening struck I would let my hand dangle over the side of the bed and demons would scratch my hands and it was somewhat pleasurable; but then it got scary. When it didn't feel good anymore I would try to say "God, and Jesus" but could barley get it out. The next thing to happen is my parents get home (in the dream) and I am being held by my mom, and she ask me what is wrong, and I show here the scratch marks on my hands, and she is troubled.

Next thing is I am startled awake because something grabbed my foot in reality...I woke up and told satan that the Book of Job says that he cannot lay a finger on me. I am really scared and wonder why I cannot declare the name of Jesus in my dreams.

I have had sleep paralysis in the past and could not declare the name of Jesus either. In fact I would actually say, "Satan I rebuke you in the name of Satan" Eventually I could say the Name of Jesus but only after a long and scary spiritual struggle.

I don't think there hasn't been a time where I had a terrible vivid nightmare and calling Jesus didn't save me. It has worked every time but I am still skeptical about it and a little confused. I don't know if works because God/Jesus are really watching out for me or if in my mind I believe that God/Jesus are the most powerful beings out there. I wish there was a way to find evidence behind it but we'll never know.

I couldn't speak for a few seconds...I was terrified speechless but I thought in Jesus name begone...and it was only a few seconds I spoke in Jesus name I banish you...in Jehovah's name begone filth....though as soon as I said Jesus name it high tailed it...and I was not afraid anymore...I had to do some research and found this site...this never happened to me before. My latest episode was that I was sleeping on my back and something grabbed me by my shirt and was trying to pull me up and I was fighting it and kept on screaming to it "GET OUT!" GET OUT!" but i could barely speak. I felt it was a bad presence that wants to take my soul. And I need to be stronger than it. I was trying so hard to fight this thing that I woke my husband up and he ask "WHo are you telling to get out." And i was so afraid to acknowledge my fear. That I just cried and fell back to sleep. I pray and i pray and have a hard time falling back to sleep afraid of this thing trying to take my soul. Sometimes i hear him laughing at me, humiliating me, cause he knows I am afraid. I have been getting better at fighting it. Never surrender to it. HELP. In Jesus's name. Help.

My dream was so real; not dreamlike. I could not sleep in my bed so, I got on the floor wrapped in my blanket. I kept rolling around and could not sleep. I don't know what made its presence but all of a sudden, I'm yelling, "I rebuke you!" and then I start yelling, "Jesus, Save Me!" and I could feel myself sitting up in bed and I am swinging and hitting at something. I have two story's, firstly a couple of months ago I dreamed a very vivid dream that I was awake in my surroundings i.e. I was in my bed in my bedroom. I felt the need to turn the light switch on just above my head but it didn't work. I got up and looked towards my front door and there were people outside the door looking into my flat looking for me, I hid behind my bedroom door hoping they didn't see me. I felt an overwhelming feeling of fear and anxiaty, it was dark and very grim I'm my flat as if my flat was in hell. I went back to bed and There was a beautiful girl standing next to my bed looking at me, she was mid 20's and had pink hair, she was so beautiful and had a glowing heavenly face. Suddenly I couldn't move and I realised she can't of been heavenly, I became paralysed. Next thing she was gone and I got up, people still outside looking in. I went back to bed and she was standing over me again. I was terrified and couldn't move. She was holding a stick in her hand as if she was going to hit me with it. I couldn't say anything or do anything. I then realised the only one who can help me was Jesus! I suddenly had the strength and power to say JESUS CHRIST IS MY LORD AND SAVIOUR!! I suddenly became powerful and strong! I lifted my body up and took the stick from the girl. I then woke up instantly.

It's happened again. This time I woke up in my bed and tried to turn the light on but it wouldn't work, all the power was off in the flat. It wasn't dark in my flat like in real life when the lights are off it was more like gray and dull. I went by the front door and put re set the fuses, the lights worked again :) I went back to bed. I heard people by the front door again, I seen an old friend from years back ironing with my ironing board near the door, I thought what the hell I must of let him do this and forgot about it. I went back to bed, woke up again and power was off I re set fuses again, there was a girl mid 20's again I thought she was a slut into party's and dunk and wanting sex with me. I closed the front door and went back to my room but my entire flat was full of xmas trees decorated, I thought this was my friend playing a prank on me as he would of in the past. I went back to bed. I woke again, it was dark and grim in my room I was paralysed, behind me at the side of the bed were 1 maybe 2 people doing something on the floor. I caught a glimpse of them, they were dark like shadows. The girl I mentioned was coming through my window into my room, she was also dark like shadow. I was terrified as I knew then that these were not real people. She came in and came close to my bed, very close to me, I was so scared and helpless I couldn't speak but eventually I started to say "you have drugged me! You have drugged me!" Then I just said JESUS!!!! I instantly woke up and turned my light on. I prayed I said lord father in heaven send your angels to me surround my room with your angels!! In Jesus name! Then I fell asleep and had a lovely one at that.
Another bed time approaches, I shall be having an intense pray time with my father in heaven befor I sleep :)
Oh by the way, the past week I have been getting closer to god, getting into my bible and praying more than I normally do.
I think this is why it's happening to me. The devil is loosing his grip on me. That's what I think anyway. God bless everyone and sweet dreams.

These stories are so powerful. Keep them coming! I used to have dreams as a child and teen where I couldn't say the name Jesus. I knew I needed to say it, to defeat an enemy, but it wouldn't come out of my mouth. I could say J..... but my mouth always got stuck.
Then in my 20s I underwent deliverance and since then I have never needed to say Jesus in a dream, but when I am awake I say it freely because I love it!
Our enemy knows he is defeated. He knows he cannot overcome the name of Jesus. Jesus is almighty, alive and there is no other name higher - his church all should be saying his name as often as we can. The enemy needs reminding!

 Two dreams that scared me almost to a crazy point NEW

The first happened a couple weeks ago. I fell asleep after praying and I had a few dreams within dreams (where I think I've woken up but I'm still dreaming) one particular dream that night was at that time the most terrifying dream I had ever had. I dreamt that I was in an apartment with my boyfriend and we went to bed but he got up to go down the hall. The room was dark. At night I always keep my medication on the nightstand bedside my bed so that I can take it if I get a headache during the night. Well in the dream I reached over to take the medicine from the nightstand and when I turned back over I could feel a presence in the bed with me, I knew it wasn't him though because I could still hear him in the hallway talking. Well I reached over with my right hand to feel what was in the bed with me and I felt a rough hand. I yanked my hand beck over and I saw a black figure sit up beside me in the bed. It was all black. It grabbed a top hat and put it on its head then turned and looked at me...staring at me. I was frozen and completely terrified. I tried to call on my boyfriend his name is Steven. I kept saying his name and apparently I was saying it out loud in real life where he could hear me and I woke up to him shaking me awake saying that he could hear me from the den where he was doing his school work, he could hear me calling his name.

The next morning I looked up "dreams about a man with a top hat on and all The sites that pulled up were terrifying. Apparently, hundreds of people have dreamt about this figure and believe him to be the devil himself or one of his top demons.

I am a Christian and I believe completely in our Savior!!

The next dream acctually occurred tonight. This was the most horrifying dream I've ever had. It's now 331am and I'm sitting outside my apartment because the dream scared me so bad that I haven't gone back inside yet. It happened at 2am this morning. I prayed again before bed. My boyfriend and I went to bed around 1230am but as I was falling asleep I felt something enter the room. The kind of feeling you get when your sitting and someone comes in quietly and although they don't say anything you can feel them there. Well I ducked under the covers for a moment then finally looked to see if something was there but I saw nothing. Shortly after I dozed off to sleep and I had a dream that I woke up but I was still sleep and it was as if I wasn't because nothing was different in the room. In the dream I did the same thing, I peeked out from under the covers and I didn't see anything and tried to go back to sleep but then the evil spirt made shuffling noices from across the room that woke up my boyfriend as well, the room was dark... the spirit then spoke and said "I'm here" and my boyfriend grabbed me to protect me but he was extremely scared and frozen also. He had his arms around my face so that the spirit wouldn't touch me but he was also shaking. We were both looking towards my bedroom door as if we knew it was behind the door because the door was open. I started to try to say Jesus but nothing would come out... But I kept trying over and over but it was like my mouth was frozen shut. Finally I got it out but it was muffled... we jumped out the bed to run into the hallway and as I passed the door I finally said it clearly and yelled at the door as we passed it "JESUS!" and the sprit shut the door behind us as we passed by escaping into the hallway, and then it opened the door again and shit it over and over as I kept saying his name and then I woke up. JESUS IS MY LORD AND SAVIOR!!!

I have had experiences like sleep paralysis since I was about 13.
Someone else commented that they began when they were opening themselves to Christ, this is also the case for me.

Usually I am on my side and I lucid dream waking to a presence laying down behind me like spooning.
I use to be able to feel its long bony legs with sparse hairs and sometimes I would pry its long clawed fingers off of my body to escape as it spoke to me in another language.
I have been able to communicate with it once, it was terrifying and physically painful.
Last night it was different. It was behind me as usual, and I was yelling at it to get out .. get out of my bed.
It was the first time I saw something. I sat up and was looking right at it in the dream.
It was like a sepia shadow and it was trying to stop me from panicking.
For the first time I mustered the words: "Father, son and Holy Ghost"

Previously I had started yelling for my mother or generally HELP or Jesus.. but the word Jesus has been powerless.

I thought I woke myself up a few times until I finally did, turned on the TV which usually stops it from coming back when I fall asleep.
If I dont turn on a light, it will come back again the same night.

I have had this happen to me several times in my life, but more frequently now that I have given my life back to the Lord. One time I had it I could not move. I would try to open my eyes,but then they would close again. I felt as if my soul came put of my body..and was upside down from the ceiling. I heard an evil voice say..what are you going to do? I couldn't speak, but in my mind I thought.. I'm going to call on Jesus! I instantly woke up..and the presence was gone. Two days ago, this happened again. I was again in a paralyzed state. I heard the evil voice calling my name. I felt as if my soul jumped out of my body and ran to the living room door to get out. My hand went right through the door. Then I gathered strength as I said in the name of Jesus Christ! I instantly woke up again. I believe that during sleep paralysis, our souls leave our body. I believe that is when the enemy tries to attack us. I think that God allows things like this to happen specifically to strengthen our faith, and so we will call on the name of Jesus. I believe these things because I had recently been praying for God to strengthen my faith and that's when it was more frequent. God loves us all.  call on jesus! NEW

i thought id share my spiritual experience that happened yesterday.

Ive actually been thinking about sleep paralysis lately and how i havnt been attacked in a while. Well, yesterday which i just so happen to pray upon a graveyard and asked jesus and the angles to have mercy on the lost souls who are stuck. (WHICH I NEVER DO, even though i KNOW i should pray more).

That night i had sleep paralysis and it was kind of scary because i heard footsteps coming closer to me as i was experienceing this attack. (about a week ago i told myself to call upon jesus if this ever happens again because i believe they are demons). So i called upon jesus as the foosteps came closer and WHAT DO YOU KNOW! the footsteps LITERALLY started walking away from me and i woke up from the scary experience.

I just find it funny how the day i prayed for some lost souls i experienced a sleep paralysis.
Do you guys think its coincidence since rencently ive been thinking about my last experience or do you guys think the demons were mad i was praying upon souls???

I had this bad dream not so long ago, where i was in my old home ( i lived there for about 6 years then moved to a new home ) i walked into the garage door then went to the pantry for snacks, but it was really dark in there. The pantry had a light on it so i pushed the button to turn it on but it didn’t do much. The TV in the living room was on but all it showed was a blue screen, after some time trying to get the light to work i felt a bad engergy coming from behind me, I slowly turned around and saw this man sitting in the couch, the couch was turned away from me so all i saw was his head. He then turned to look at me and then smiled and began laughing. I was so scared so i tried calling out to Jesus ( as i grew up in a christian home ever since i was born ) but i couldn’t say Jesus, it felt like if i was chocking on my own tongue, i could say any other word except for Jesus. What is the meaning from of this ?

I have had devil attacks for 30 years just like these stories in these comments it is a paralyzing effect that comes over you When I Say the Name of Jesus to rebuke it my voice is slurred and it's very hard to say it is if there is a hand that is choking my neck and tongue trying to keep me from saying it but you keep on saying it and these Devils will release up till now these are the only happened that night I recently had a work accident where I fell from a ladder and I've been laid up and not much sleep so I was in the middle of the day in my recliner and fell asleep and one attacked me I actually woke up and it was still seizing me I was awake and looking around my room saying the name of Jesus with a slurred voice at it it was trying to pull me back down into asleep into a darkness and I knew if I fell asleep into this Darkness I would never come back I was looking all around the room and wondering if my wife will come running in from all my slurring voice and she would think I was crazy I eventually raise my arms up into the air toward the ceiling and I physically and mentally fought my way out of it and it left I've never had one do this in the middle of the day about 2:30 p.m. I also know prophecies and have had prophecies revealed to me we are in the end of the age all of you that's are having this happen is because of that

 I really need a better relationship with Jesus NEW

So I’ll start off with the first experience ( mind spelling errors it’s 4:50am in the morning here in Australia) so I’ve had many Vivid dreams and been held down by unseen dark forces. The first dream was very vivid. I woke up ( in my dream) everything was the same....I looked out my window and saw these shadows on the roof coming for me. Suddenly I felt like something was going to grab me..I yelled " Jesus help me" and I saw this VERY bright flash of white light and a figure of a man that I felt was Jesus! I just couldn’t see his face..just the outline and his hair.

Second dream.

I was about to get plastic surgery in my dream..I saw this young female Whispering into a males ear I went over and tried to hear what she was saying. Suddenly she grabbed me and wouldn’t let go. I was looking into its eyes and it felt like pure evil can’t even describe it. Everyone in that room was Chanting..

Suddenly I was in hell then I was back looking into its evil eyes. Started praying (our father who aren’t in heaven ) and it wouldn’t stop laughing... I forgot some of the prayer then I just called out " Jesus please help me" I woke up by the sound of my phone ringing... mum said that she felt the need to call me that something was wrong. I believe that was Jesus.


Also not related to a dream...but I asked Jesus to show me that he was watching over me. Two weeks later I met this female so randomly...she was talking about Jesus with a lot of passion! She called me over to sit next to her in the nail salon...she was born on the 18th of May same as me!!! Later that SAME DAY I met a taxi driver that was talking about Jesus ( I didn’t even bring Jesus up) his name was Sam my nickname is Sam my whole name is Samantha. So I met a girl born 18th of May and a taxi driver called Sam. It’s like Jesus is telling me he is watching over me.

I do need to start reading the bible! That I’m guilty of.

I’m not one to invoke the power of God nor am I one to post much on the internet. Not that I don’t believe, but for some stupid reason, it always seems to be my last hope, when I’ve exhausted every other remedy I can think of. I’ve been suffering from insomnia for many years. I’ve tried almost everything you could think of from drugs such as Ambien to eastern meditation to channeling angels. On the eve of a very important test for a good paying job, my anxiety kicked in as usual. I thought I would lay awake most of the night worrying if I would pass the test and be exhausted and fail in the morning. I thought to say the name of Jesus. As I said it over and over again l fell asleep. I slept like a baby and woke refreshed and rested and passed the test! Praise the Lamb of God who brought me peaceful rest by merely saying his name! John 14:13 Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. Amen!

 Power of the name jesus

When i was a little boy i used to sleep in the same bed with mum&dad everyday i sleep around 2am in the morning i could feel people like spirits taking me somewhere i don't know and they bring me back, during that period i could not move or scream and after telling my mum they just ignore me.sometimes i just sit in the sitingroom alone and i see my mum or dad passing through the walls and disappear it reached a point when i was sleeping everyday i used to see someone pointing a torch on me when i turn on the lights in my bedroom the totch disappears. One day my brother was sleeping and he forgot to close the bedroom door, he said he was being chocked by someone and he had a rosary that used to glow in the night but that day it did not glow, he tried to shout the word jesus but he could not, he tried to scream but no sound came from him after some seconds he was able to say jesus and that ghost went away and the rosary on his neck glow this is a true story. Sometimes i sleep and i see a spirit chocking me and i cannot move or shout.. Then after sometime my voice comes back and i shout jesus and am able to wake up again. To cut the story short satan does exist and that's the full proof that GOD exists. If satan exists then GOD is real. Never give up on GOD. The word jesus is stronger than anything you can imagine

 another encounter with the evil experience NEW

In the middle of the night, I heard someone calling me from afar, so I went out our room, but no one was there. I went back to the bedroom (I share with my sisters) asking if they heard that someone, but they didn’t. My other sister got called too, so she went outside and I told her not to enter any room, but she proceeded, so I went back to our bedroom to see my oldest sister with white eyes, starring at me and she was walking towards me, getting closer to my face. I started reaching out for Jesus, but my lips felt like they were glued together. I kept trying, hoping that my sister would leave. I just couldn’t say Jesus’s name and idk why, so I felt like giving up, but I didn’t. Finally my sister left the room, but I started to have blurry visions at that time. I thought that maybe my eyes also went white. I reached out for my phone and trying to play "What a Beautiful Name" because I thought maybe the song could call out Jesus for me since I couldn’t say his name and I know that that song mentions the name "Jesus". I called out Jesus’s name throughout the song and I was finally able to say his name properly but I was still stuck in that dark place. Suddenly, I saw my sister and my mom coming for me with white eyes. I closed my eyes and called out Jesus’s name really loud. After that I finally woke up. The cool thing was, I woke up saying "In Jesus Name!"
